It consists of a triangular-shaped area surrounded by small posts with chains, planted with shrubs and rose bushes. The well is in the centre of this area, together with seating, all covered with a six-sided tiled roof supported by oak beams. It is an old well that was used by the residents of Doveridge for the supply of water before the piped supply. The roof was re-tiled in July 1981. (1)
