Full Description

On a knoll, above Bradwell Dale, is a small nucleated Romano-British settlement consisting of at least two rectangular houses set within a walled enclosure. (1) Permission to survey the site in circa 1998 was refused. (2) Enclosure situated on knoll above Bradwell Dale. Banked feature using knoll escarpment and possible entrance on east, two house sites. Three sherds of pottery recovered. One Derbyshire ware, one grey/pink ware base sherd, one grey ware wall sherd at base. (3)
