Full Description

Old barn on Hob Lane, Kirk Ireton, believed to be a 300-year old tithe barn. Currently [in 1969] in fair condition and in use as a hay store. (1) An undated (presumably post-1969) pencilled addition to the County Treasure form notes the barn to be in not very good condition and very unassuming, although possibly of historic interest. A door in the rear has been blocked up with stone. (2)
