Full Description
On the east side of a 19th century gritstone barn are two building lintels inscribed with biblical homilies. The barn is of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof, in good condition. It has new timber guttering; the lean-to at the north end is dated 1942. Stone 'A' reads "For God shall bring every work into judgement with every secret thing whether it be good or whether it be evil". Stone 'B' reads "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed". (1)
