Well with surrounding drystone wall, and a trough outside for livestock. The well is named after Grace Greatorex, an ancestor of Councillor Ron Greatorex. This well was used as a reserve supply when others in the neighbourhood dried up. It stands at the junction of several public footpaths and was refurbished by Community Programme during 1987. (1)
Unpublished document: County Treasure Recording Form. 13.25, with photos before and after refurbishment.
