Full Description

A line of pre-cast concrete kerbstones with built-in red reflectors lie along the south side of the road entering Snitterton from Matlock. Given the poor street lighting and poor vehicle headlights before the war, these no doubt made a useful contribution to road safety. They are probably now obsolete. It is unusual to find so many at one site. (1)
