Cast iron milepost, triangular section, with embossed pointing hands. On the east side: 'Ashover / 6 miles / Chesterfield / 9 miles'. On the west side 'Rowsley / ½ mile / Haddon Hall / 2½ miles / Bakewell / 4 miles'. (1)
