Full Description
Metal milepost with embossed pointing hands, on the B5057. On the south-west side (but with the hand pointing to the north-east) 'Chesterfield / 7 M'. On the north-east side (with the hand pointing south-west) 'Two Dales / 1½ M / Wensley / 3¼ M / Winster / [distance obscured by grass]'. It stands immediately in front of an older stone milepost (see SMR 9856). (1)
