Full Description

A large rim sherd (over 10cm) of Romano-British Derbyshire Ware, in grey fabric with no sign of abrasion, was found during the weekend of 21st to 22nd May 2005 on a recent spoil dump to the north of a newly scraped area at Back Dale Quarry (approx. SK 234736). The sherd was identified by Pauline Beswick on May 25th 2005. (1).
