Boundary post, Ashbourne Road, Kirk Langley, an early 19th century structure. 'Cast iron parish boundary marker, indicating the boundaries of Brailsford and Kirk Langley parishes.' (1-2) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 24 SE PARISH OF KIRK LANGLEY ASHBOURNE ROAD 2/62 (South Side) Boundary Post at OS 629 405 II Boundary post. Early C19. Cast iron. Triangular in plan with sloping upper part rising to back plate with curved top.
