Full Description

Cast iron parish boundary marker, indicating the boundaries of Brailsford and Kirk Langley parishes. (1) Boundary post. Early C19. Cast iron. Triangular in plan with sloping upper part rising to back plate with curved top. Inscribed COUNTY/OF/DERBY on the top, LANGLEY/PARISH and BRAILSFORD/PARISH on the sides; also J HAYWOOD JNR/PHOENIX FOUNDRY/DERBY. (2)
