Full Description

The Old Forge, No. 4 Moor Lane, Kirk Langley, a former smithy of 19th century date. The building is shown on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c1880 where it is labelled 'Smithy,' and it continues to be labelled that way on the 2nd and 3rd editions. It is currently a private dwelling. Smithy. Single storey brick building of 19th century date on the west side of Moor Lane near the junction with the A52. (1)
