Full Description

Flint material collected during fieldwalking in the field centred on SK 49997230 included 2 cores, 2 flakes and 3 fragments of miscellaneous waste. This field is included on a distribution map of fields yielding datable Mesolithic and Later Neolithic/Early Bronze Age tools and debitage. Additional material collected included four post-medieval and 22 modern pottery sherds, 7 fragments of tile/brick, three fragments of glass, one fragment of glass slag and three clay pipe stems.
