Full Description

Material recovered during fieldwalking on September 24 1984 in the field centred at SK 50087349 included one single end flake scraper, one retouched flake, 6 flakes and 10 fragments of miscellaneous flint waste. Some flint was of possible Mesolithic date, others of possible Later Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date. At the time that this field was walked, artefacts other than flint and Romano-British pottery were not being collected. (1, 2)
