Full Description

Brown's Foundry, Nottingham Road. Two storey brick building with slate roof now offices and showrooms on the corner of Clarke Street, are all that remains of the former Brown's Foundry which dated from 1913 - sited on the earlier Mersey Foundry works. The firm were general manufacturers making kitchen ovens, grates, manhole covers, bollards, etc. The foundry workshops were cleared in the 1980s. (1)
