Full Description
Framework Topshop, 1 Mill Row, Off Locko Road, Spondon. At first floor level in the east wall of this cottage, facing Locko Road, adjacent to the Vernon Arms, can be seen the outline of the original long window, now infilled with later brickwork and two smaller modern windows. This is now the only reminder of the local framework knitting industry in the near surrounds of Derby. See also SMR 32170. (1)
