Full Description
There is a brick and tile works shown at this location on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1)
By the 2nd edition OS map of c. 1900, the northern half of the are has started to be redeveloped, and the southern half is labelled as 'Old Clay Pits'. (2)
By the 3rd edition 25" OS map, the whole area has been redeveloped. (3)
