Full Description

The 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map shows a lime kiln and quarry, presumably in use in c. 1880. By the end of the century, the lime kiln had disappeared and the quarry was out of use, being marked on the 2nd edition as 'Old Quarry'. (1, 2).
