Post-medieval Midlands Purple ware jar; 9.75" high, 7.25" diameter; handles applied laterally, in opposing directions, unusually; glazed on interior; 16th or 17th century; found under cellar floor at Cunninghan's tailor's shop, Sadlergate in 1975. (1)
