Full Description

Burdett shows the Henmore Mill, by name, on the River Amber, about ΒΌ mile north-west of Clay Cross. It is similarly named on the 1840 Ordnance map but does not appear on the 1897 map (surveyed 1875/85). Millers included T Elliott, 1850-55 and T Elliott, 1875-87. A stone building remains as a house conversion. (1)
