Full Description

Lodge Cottage, Rodsley Lane, Longford, built c1840. Previously Grade II Listed: 'Lodge, now cottage. c1840,built for Cokes of Longford Hall. Painted brick with painted stone sills. Pyramidal slate roof with wide overhanging eaves and lead flashings, central painted brick stack. Cottage has plinth to base and projecting pilaster strips to each corner. Single storey and square in plan with projecting pedimented porch to south. Outer opening of porch is semi-circular headed with plain soffit mould and moulded imposts, behind a flush panelled inner door. Either side of porch has blind semi-circular headed niches and beyond to either side single glazing bar sashes. East and west elevations have central casement windows and north elevation has later lean-to added.' Delisted, August 2006.
