Full Description

A group of buildings are shown to the west of Longford Almshouses on the Longford Tithe Map of 1840. The schedule records them as 'Longford Inn, Stables, Yards, Gardens and Orchard'. They stood just to the north of a stretch of road that has now disappeared (SMR 22624). They had been demolished by the time the 1st ed. 25" OS map was surveyed (late 1870s). (1, 2)
