No. 4 The Hollow, Derby, a late 16th or early 17th century building.
'This is a two-storey, two-cell timber-framed house on a stone plinth, with brick in-fill, standing end-on to the lane. It has recently been extensively restored, and an extension was built onto the east end of the house in the 1980s. The house was the dwelling of the yeoman who managed the estate belonging to the Old Hall, and was constructed in the late 16th or early 17th century.' (1)

2. C16 or C17. Square panelled timber frame with red brick infilling; 2 storeys; deep stone base; 2 and 3 light windows, generally small-paned casements; plain doorway with modern porch; gabled end to road with rendering and a small casement window with sliding sash, that to ground storey with small weather hood on brackets; tiled.
Nos 4 to 8 (consec) form a group.
