Full Description

No. 4 and No. 2 together form a farmhouse built at the end of the 18th century. It seems to have been divided into two at an early date, probably no later than the middle of the 19th century. A two-storey extension was made in the early 20th century. The earlier outhouse at the west end of the back wall could perhaps have been built as two privies backing onto a common washhouse. (1)
