Full Description
This house, with an inscribed date of 1787, appears to be a rebuilding at that date of an earlier timber-framed house. The outbuilding at the south end of the house probably dates from the mid 19th century, probably replacing an earlier building. It was probably built as a farmhouse, and remained as such until at least 1928, and perhaps until 1955 when the south end of the site was sold as a building plot for a bungalow. (1)
