Full Description

The house stands back from the road on a wide site with some farm buildings - cowsheds, hay barn and dairy - in front of it to the west. It faces south towards the Trent. It is two-and-a-half storeys, high, T-shaped on plan, with brick and stone walls rendered throughout with grey roughcast. It was probably built in the mid 18th century, and one end was substantially rebuilt in the early 19th century. (1)
