Full Description
Lane End Cottage, Taylors Lane, Trusley, an early 19th century building.
'This three-cell, two-storey house with outbuildings is thought to date from about 1820. The north wing, forming the present kitchen, was perhaps built between 1850 and 1860 as a back-kitchen or scullery. There was a large dairy in the middle of the house, and there are also further apparently-demolished outbuildings, suggesting that this was the home of a smallholder or superior farm servant.' (1)
