Full Description
Single span bridge of rubble gritstone constructed by 1815; crosses the Black Brook immediately north of the Navigation Inn. Carried the rising trackbed of the first tramway siding to the New Road kiln top area, from the complex of sidings east of the Upper Basin. After the 1860s the bridge carried Jane Lane only. (1)
