Full Description

There is a milestone on the Peak Forest Tramway at c. SK02748218. (1) Smooth finished gritstone milepost with rounded top. No inscriptions as information was painted on. Installed as one of a series to demarcate the full and half miles along the Peak Forest Tramway route. One of only four surviving along the Peak Forest Tramway; installed c. 1796. (1)
