Full Description
Site of former Peak Forest Tramway siding and loading wharf to serve settlements at Barmoor Clough and Sparrowpit. Constructed 1863 on re-aligned Peak Forest Tramway, adjacent to the Buxton Road. The A6 layby has encroached on the wharf site, overlying the PFT trackbed by at least 1 metre. (1)
