Full Description
Historic field boundary crossing the floor of the disused quarries of Upper Dove Holes Dale. Demarcates east-west property boundary in Dove Holes Dale. It is unclear if, or how, this drystone boundary was maintained during quarrying operations. Limestone rubble boundary wall built by 1847. (1)
