Full Description

Railway Station Building, Clowne. Single storey brick building with slate roof; also intact platform on the officially mothballed (1999) Staveley-Elmton line. All derelict and unused. The line went out of use with the closure of Creswell Colliery in the 1990s. (1) A comparison of the modern map [2008] with late 19th century/early 20th century OS maps suggests the building referred to above has been demolished. (2)
