Full Description
Site of Seymour Colliery. The site is now cleared - including all the former housing (Seymour Cottages) - apart from the residual spoil heap, and in 1999 the site was the basis of a considerable opencast operation. The whole area is dominated by landscaped spoil heaps, to either side of the M1 motorway and the Oxcraft Colliery - Clowne branch railway line. (1)
