Full Description

A colliery is marked at this site on Sanderson's map of 1835, possibly served by a railway shown running up the east side of Brickyard Lane which probably connected with the Little Eaton Tramway to the south. The map shows two possible buildings and two open circles which may represent shafts. (1)
