Full Description

A number of probable earthworks to the east of Castle Wood were identified from aerial photographs. These have been interpreted as: A) A sub-rectangular feature c. 90m by 40m, truncated at its north-west end by a stream; B) A circular feature c. 40-50m in diameter; C) A sub-rectangular feature up to 200m long enclosing both A and B to the south. These earthwork features are of unknown date and function. (1)
