Full Description

A milestone is recorded on late 19th century OS maps, which indicate that it was marked 'Ashbourne 5'. (1, 2) On the early 20th century 3rd edition it is marked as 'Old M.S.' (3) According to a local resident in 1982, the milestone had 'subsided underground some 5 years ago'. (4)
