A Romano-British settlement or farmstead on White Edge, which consists of a single enclosure with house foundations and an extensive surrounding field system. (1).
A survey of Romano-British sites in the rural uplands of the Peak District, carried out in 1998-2000, was unable to confirm the existence and dating of the site, as permission to survey was refused by the landowner. (2).
