Full Description

A struck flint was found by a member of the public while riddling the soil of an allotment at Cote Heath, Buxton (SK 064 728), in or before August 2007. It has been retained by the finder for the time being, but may be donated to Buxton Museum in the future. The blade measures 50mm long, 16mm at the widest point, and is approx. 3mm thick. (1)
