SK 34386 43889. Possible foundation walls pertaining to the castle, Castle Hill House, Milford Road, Duffield, were referred to in 1922: "When Castle Hill House was built, the foundations were found of a wall five feet thick, which may have been part of the outer defences of the castle." (1)
