Full Description

An archaeological watching brief was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in November and December 2006 at 121A Nun's Street, Derby, on behalf of Bethrose Developments. The earliest features revealed were limestone pad foundations from a building of 18th-19th century date. (1) No buildings are shown at this location on Sanderson's map of 1835 (2), the Board of Health map of 1852 (3), or the OS 6" of c.1880.
