Full Description

Burton Road, No. 219, The Crest. Designed by architect Arthur Eaton (1857-1924) for himself in 1896. Two-storey brick villa with stone dressings and an octagonal turret (a favourite with this architect). Note: There are several other villas in Burton Road by this man. (1) Large late Victorian brick house, built in 1896 and designed by local architect Arthur Eaton. Rendered with mock Tudor timber paneling. Impressive octagonal corner tower with steep clay tile roof. (2)
