Burton Road, No. 311. Designed for himself by John Reginald Naylor (1854-1923) of Naylor & Sale. (1) Large Edwardian roughcast rendered villa with mock Tudor half timbering, original vertical sliding sash windows and leaded light windows on the ground floor. The villa was designed and built between 1895 and 1898 by John Reginald Naylor of what became the Derby architectural firm Naylor & Sale when Sale joined in the 1890s, for his own use. (2)
