Full Description

Uttoxeter Road, Rough Heanor, Borough Lunatic Asylum. (b) Extremely inventive Moderne Kingsway House by C H Aslin to the north of the site. Built 1936-38 and very little altered; bow-shaped planform to give maximum length of south-facing façade, and to provide two small circular and enclosed courtyards at either end. (1)
