Full Description

The Cemetery, with a chapel and lodge, is shown on the 1852 Board of Health map. (1) The Lodge of the Cemetery was built in a Gothic style from stone with a slate and is a single-storey building with an attic. It is L-shaped in plan with a 2-storeyed porch at the junction of the wings. Other listed structures within the cemetery include monuments to Thomas Skevington and John Gregory Pike. (2)
