Full Description

On Speed's map of 1610 two bridges cross the Markeaton Brook just to the north-west of St Werbergh's church, one coming from Bold Lane and one from Sadler Gate. (1) Moneypenny's map of 1791 shows one bridge crossing the Markeaton Brook to the north-west of St Werbergh's church. (2)
