Full Description

SK 1572 6694. Mound. (1). Strange circular mound situated in a treed shelter belt c. two metres high and c. ten metres across. On one side there is a small indentation with some possible drystone walling and perhaps a lintel stone. The mound does not appear to be lead mining debris; it is possibly a prehistoric burial mound. (2).
