Full Description

Toll Bar Cottage is a former toll house on a turnpike road that was built from this point through Idridgehay village, 1807-1825. It is a plain red brick building in good condition. (1) The 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880 shows the building marked 'Shottle T.P.'. (2)
