Full Description
The 2nd edition OS map c. 1900 shows a Primitive Methodist Chapel on Simpson's Lane (now Patchwork Row). It appears to have superseded a smaller chapel to the south (see SMR 12546). (1-2)
There is a Primitive Methodist Chapel at Shirebrook that was erected in 1901. (3)
By the time of the 3rd ed. OS map c. 1930 the chapel is being used as a Sunday school, with a new smaller building adjacent being used as the Primitive Methodist Church. (4)
Examination of modern maps show that the building has been demolished [2009]. (5)
