Full Description

Wilfred Louis Foster of Fosters of Ashbourne (Fishing Tackle Company) reports finding a dug-out canoe at Woodeaves on the Bentley Brook. It was about 3m (10ft) long and was recorded as being in a good state of preservation. The boat is of unknown date but might have been prehistoric. (1,2).
