Full Description

There is a Primitive Methodist Chapel situated here on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of circa 1900 that is not present on the 1st edition 25" OS map of circa 1880. (1-2) The Primitive Methodist Chapel at Egginton was built in 1894 and 1895. It is a brick building, with stone dressings, and seats about 150 persons. (3) The building is still extant but is no longer in use as a place of worship (2011). (4-5)
