Full Description

The 1st ed. 25" OS map shows a small Wesleyan Methodist Chapel on Buxton Road, Fenny Bentley. The chapel was still in use at the beginning of the 20th century. (1, 2, 3) Examination of modern maps indicate that the building may survive as 'Rainbow Cottage', a private residence. (4) The Wesleyans have a small chapel in the village, built in 1832. (5)
